Getting started on your future can be exciting, but it’s also a very busy time. RRC LTC is committed to your academic and personal success. We provide valuable support services to assist students in working through concerns that might impact your success at RRC LTC.
Counselling and Disability Services
Personal well-being is key to academic success. RRC LTC offers counselling support to help you manage problems such as: stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationship issues. Academic problems,test anxiety and financial concerns are also areas with which we can help.
If you have a diagnosed physical, learning or mental health disability, you may be eligible to receive various supports that could help you accomplish your goals while at RRC LTC. Our counsellor can help you arrange, coordinate and monitor these supports — such as exam accommodations, interpreting services, tutoring services,note-taking assistance, plus adaptive technology and equipment — based on your needs.
Employment Services for Students
Landing a job after school is, of course, a primary goal, and RRC's Employment Services can help. We'll assist you with job-seeking strategies, resume writing, cover letters, interview preparation/mock interviews, employment application forms, current labour market information and any other employment-related matter. We provide support and direction when looking for summer, part-time, full-time or temporary employment.
Photo ID cards
Students are required to obtain an ID card and are encouraged to carry their ID cards when on campus.
The card will be valid for five years from the date of issue and will be re-activated each time they subsequently register at the College. A person must be registered as a student in order to use the card to access the facilities and services.
